    1. Take pride in a shared space
    2. Feelings of being an individual in a city community 
    3. Experiences curate the sense of place
  4. Unique Characteristics
    1. The beltline is 22 miles round
    2. There are many cultural events year-round
    3. Within the central part of Atlanta, connecting 45 neighborhoods
  5. Artifacts
    1. The space is redeveloped from old railways
    2. Ponce City Market is a renovated factory
    3. The project promotes renovated buildings
  6. Metaphor
    1. The shape of the beltline is evident - a belt holds things together and usually promotes stability and connectivity.
  7. History
    1. It was a thesis project 
    2. The railways and railroads formerly brought commerce to Atlanta
    3. Ponce City Market is a refurbished building
  8. Stories


I’ve been around Atlanta long enough to see the project come to life since its inception and creation into an established and viable product for the city of Atlanta. I also remember when PCM was an abandoned building, and I was able to watch the transformation into the revamped venue is it now. 


9.What do you want others to know about this place? 


The beltline is a symbol of regeneration and a vision of a dream come true.
